When it comes to any kind of thrill ride, bigger is always better, right? Right! Well, there can be fewer bigger than Calypso waterpark in Ottawa in Canada. The park, famous for its sheer size, covers 100 acres and contains 35 slides, including the panic-inducing Summit Tower. The Summit is the tallest slide tower in North America with its peak standing at an incredible 171 feet; it's like jumping off a 17-story building. The Water Cube in China, renowned as the scene of many triumphs in the pool during the 2008 Olympics, has undergone a $25 million renovation and now is lit up by 37,000 sets of lights which offer a stunning spectacle in the Beijing skyline at night. With trips to Dubai, the Bahamas and Honolulu on the itinerary, there's plenty of other opportunities to get your fill of wet water thrills.
