Anthony Melchiorri, one of the most sought after hotel fixers in the US, returns to run his, very critical, eye over some new struggling businesses. Deploying a range of methods, from disguises to hidden cameras, to find out just how bad the hotels are when he first arrives, Anthony quickly discovers they are very bad indeed. First up, Anthony travels to California to reinvigorate the historic Holbrooke Hotel. Founded in 1851, it's California's oldest hotel and saloon in continuous operation but owner Ian Garfinkel struggles to turn a profit on this landmark and can't even remember his computer password to change the room rates. Anthony also rushes to the aid of Sean and Julie who are brand new to the hotel business and don't appear to have any idea what to do. Anthony is shocked to discover that they have inherited a wedding from the previous owners that will be happening in just two days. Anthony somehow needs to get the hotel up and running for a wedding that could make or break this hotel. Anthony also travels to Greece to assess how the Litohoro Olympus Resort Villas & Spa is coping with Greece's recent economic hardships. The fact that the bellhop is not bothering to answer any of the guest's enquires is certainly not helping bring in some much-needed cash. Not everyone welcomes Anthony's observations and suggestions but he's certainly not afraid of dishing out some tough love to some tough owners.
