Japan is full of secrets and this one-hour special goes behind the façade to explore some of the country's unique sightseeing attractions, many of which seem eccentric to Western eyes. Highlights include 'no panty' bars, a uniquely Japanese soft-porn concept that involves mirrored floors and mini-skirted waitresses 'sans underwear', capsule hotels, which resemble sleeping berths in trains, vending machines which talk, 'love-theme' hotels ranging from miniature Gothic castles to Middle Eastern temples, and the Japan Tattoo Institute, filled with pictures of beautiful skin art.
