The legend continues to grow as Globe Trekker returns for another series of uncompromising travel through both the known and lesser known world. Holly Morris begins in Bangladesh with an adventure through one of the poorest and most populated countries on the planet. It's a tough but rewarding journey and, contrary to expectations, Holly discovers a country overflowing with life, culture and incredible hospitality. Zay Harding heads to Texas to sample its big landscapes, big history and big steaks. Brianna Barnes visits non-stop London, a city perpetually evolving and seamlessly blending a rich history with a modern day culture. Zoe D'Amato, a native of Nova Scotia, uncovers hidden gems in Eastern Canada; a country she thought she knew all about. 1 Bangladesh
Holly Morris begins her journey in Bangladesh in Dhaka and embarks on a journey down river to the Sunderban National Park where she joins local villagers on a trek deep into the forest. Holly then visits a local "floating" school where she ends up giving the children a useful lesson in American slang before heading east, stopping at a slithering snake charmers market, and onto the hilly tea plantations of Sylhet. A sleeper train to the coast brings Holly to the infamous ship breaking yards of Chittagong. In need of some well-earned R&R Holly finishes her journey in a seaside resort providing the perfect end to this adventure.

2 Papua New Guinea Islands
Zay Harding travels to the Papua New Guinea islands. On Manus, Zay goes fishing with the islanders, before joining a hunting expedition for one of the local delicacies of New Ireland - flying fox. After having visited a woman renowned for having tamed freshwater eels, Zay cycles on to visit one of New Ireland's greatest master carvers of masks. On a banana boat, he is thrilled to be surrounded by a huge pod of dolphins, before diving a submerged WW2 tank. In Rabaul, Zay gets to see a shot down Japanese Zero fighter plane. He then canoes to the volcano Tavurvur, where he joins the locals hunting for Megapode eggs. Zay finally witnesses the spectacular nocturnal Fire Dance of the Baining tribe, before ending his trip climbing Rabaul's highest volcano.

3 Eastern Canada
Zoe D'Amato starts her journey at Cape Spear, where her boat is immediately surrounded by Hump Back whales. She then heads to Cape Breton Island on the northern tip of Nova Scotia to discover a thriving Gaelic culture. On Prince Edward Island, she learns about the local passion for a form of horse racing called 'Harness racing', before heading to New Brunswick, where she enjoys some kayak amongst the rocks and fishes for lobsters. Zoe then takes a flight inland to Quebec, just in time for the New France Festival. The highlight of her trip comes when she is invited to join in rehearsals by Cirque de Soleil. The last leg of the journey sees Zoe fly to Toronto, the capital of Ontario, a short drive from her final destination: the Majestic Niagara Falls.

4 London
Brianna Barnes starts her tour of London at Buckingham Palace, witnessing the Changing of the Guard and the National Gallery. She then checks out the fashionable Spitalfields Market in East End, before taking a tour of the nearby street art. On day three, Brianna visits Mayfair to discover some of London's finest retail establishments and takes a look at the London Transport Museum at Covent Garden. Brianna also cycles along the canal from Regent's Park all the way to the Olympic Stadium. She then heads out to Oxford, one of the many towns less than an hour's train ride away, for a day trip. Back in London, Brianna goes speeding off down the river to Greenwich to check out the Royal Naval College, the National Maritime Museum, and the Tate Modern. After a day in Buckinghamshire, Brianna visits the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew and tours Richmond Park on horseback. Finally, Brianna takes part in the annual Thames Festival.

5 East Texas
Zay Harding's journey starts in 'cow town', Ft. Worth, taking in some roping lessons from former rodeo star Pam Minnick and participating in the evenings whip-cracking rodeo show. Zay then gets to explore the longest running gun show in the State. Next it's onto Dallas, where Zay visits one of the most infamous spots in the city, the scene of President Kennedy's assassination. Moving south, Zay stops at one of the most infamous prisons in the country, Huntsville. Zay finally travels to Houston, home to NASA's Johnson Space Centre, where he finds out what astronauts go through during training. Zay completes his journey in the tiny town of Chappell Hill during the patriotic 4th of July celebrations.

6 World War 2 in the Pacific
Ian Wright, Megan McCormick, Matt Young and Zay Harding travel across the Pacific, visiting key Second World War locations in some of the world's remotest and most beautiful places. Megan starts the journey at Pearl Harbour, Hawaii before Zay visits the famous 'Bridge over the River Kwai' in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. The team also uncover the war stories of several spectacular places such as Rabaul, in New Britain, Papua New Guinea, to the very rarely visited island of Mili. Lastly, Ian Wright visits the Peace Museum in Nagasaki, dedicated to the memory of those who died in the second atom bomb explosion three days after Hiroshima, and hears the harrowing testimony of one of the survivors of the bombing.

7 West Texas
Zay Harding begins his journey in the state capital, Austin, a shining Mecca for the weird and wonderful. Zay then heads south to visit the laid back city of San Antonio where he explores the Alamo. Following a night in the most haunted hotel in Texas, Zay boards a train and travels 500 miles across the state to its far western corner and the border city of El Paso. For the final leg of his trip, Zay takes to the road in a 1960's mustang and travels to the far north of the state into an area known as the panhandle. Determined to get his kicks on Route 66, Zay busts a gut in Amarillo's steak eating challenge and concludes his journey on the border with New Mexico in the mysterious ghost town of Glenrio.

8 Mid Atlantic States
Brianna Barnes starts her journey in Atlantic City, New Jersey. After taking the car-ferry from Cape May to Lewes, Brianna heads for the Chesapeake Bay, where she checks out a classic American Diner, and goes crabbing for the famous Maryland Blue Crabs, before stopping by south-eastern Pennsylvania's historic Brandywine Valley in Delaware. After making a pilgrimage to some of Philadelphia's famous 'cheese steak' outlets, she makes a run up the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum and discovers she's not the only fan of the Hollywood legend 'Rocky Balboa'. Brianna later heads deeper into Pennsylvania to Amish Country, the new Flight 93 memorial, and Pittsburgh to check out the Andy Warhol Museum. Finally, Brianna practices a classic American highway tradition by pulling over at a curious roadside attraction which in this case is 'Foamhenge', a full scale replica of Stonehenge made out of Styrofoam!

9 Art Trails of the Riviera
Searching for more than of sun, sea, fine wine and fine dining, Kate Comer discovers an extraordinary art trail on the French Riviera , once tramped by the greatest artists of the modern era: Cezanne, Renoir, Picasso, Leger, Chagall and the avant garde poet, Cocteau. From Arles, the Roman town turned into a refuge by the wild Expressionist Vincent Van Gogh, to the birthplace of modern art - Aix - where Paul Cezanne gave impressionism its indelible stain. From Cagnes Sur Mer, where 300 days of sunshine a year and a brilliant light caught the affections of an old Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Kate Comer searches out the refuges and favourite playgrounds of these great artists, taking in the sun and peerless blue skies, the rugged mountains and sublime coastline that attracted these iconoclasts to the Riviera, along the way.

10 Uruguay & Paraguay
Holly Morris starts her journey in Uruguay on its beautiful coastline. She opts to rough it in the primitive hippie hang out of Cabo Polonio, before trying her hand at ranching in the rarely visited heartland of Uruguay. Holly then heads to the mysterious land locked nation of Paraguay, one of the least visited countries on the continent, where she learns in its capitol city Asuncion about the brutal dictatorship that gripped the country. In the lake side village of San Bernardino, Holly explores the remains of an old German community before visiting further south the ruins of a 18th century Jesuit missions. In the final leg of her journey Holly heads to Mbaracayu nature reserve to hunt in the traditional way with the countries indigenous Ache people.

11 Buenos Aires City Guide
In Buenos Aires, Judith Jones sets out to explore as many sides to this city as possible. She gets the Argentine take on Evita outside the Casa Rosada, enjoys a sultry tango lesson at her hotel and explores the overflowing antique markets of the bohemian barrio of San Telmo. Judith learns the secrets of Buenos Aires high society at Recoleta Cemetery and takes in the sights, sounds and smells of the countryside at the Gaucho street fair in the cities meat packing district. But nothing compares to her night on the tiles at one of Buenos Aires' trendiest Tango clubs where the cities sense of style and passion shine.

12 Great Australian Hikes
In the best of Australia's great hikes, Zay Harding treks through five of the country's most challenging landscapes from rainforest to mountains to coastline. Zay hikes along the six foot track in the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Lamington National Park in Queensland, Mount Bishop and Clerk in Maria Island, the Great Ocean Road in Victoria and climbs Mount Gower on Lord Howe Island. Along the way he encounters the country's most exotic wildlife such as the spiny echidna and platypus and experiences the most spectacular views.

13 Colonial Australia
Zay Harding explores the colonial history of the state of Victoria in Australia, starting in the Grampian Mountains where he meets the original inhabitants, the Aboriginal people. He then heads to Melbourne to explore the city's grand Victorian arcades and architecture. Zay spends Easter weekend in the Gold Rush towns of Ballarat and Bendigo, takes part in a Chinese Dragon Festival, and runs the oldest footrace in the pioneer town of Stawell. Zay's on the Ned Kelly trail as he investigates the history of Australia's most notorious outlaw, from Kelly's birthplace in Beveridge to his place of execution at the Old Melbourne Gaol. Finally, Zay explores the sites leading up to Federation and the founding of a new Australia.
