1  Liguria & Piedmont

Floyd starts his gastronomic tour of Italy with a sumptuous red mullet and pesto dish cooked in Liguria market place. He visits a Perono vineyard fishes for perch in Lake Maggiore and hunts for truffles in the hills of Piedmonte

2  Emilia Romagna & Venice

Floyd discovers how Parmesan cheese and Parma Ham are made cooks a squid-ink pasta dish and makes ravioli in the middle of a violent thunderstorm. After shopping in Venice he makes a fish stew near the Rialto Bridge

3  Tuscany

In the shadow of the local church Floyd prepares Pigeons in Red Wine Sauce before travelling south to Siena for a visit to a local Marquesa's luxurious house to cook Wild Boar Casserole in the 16th century kitchen.

Floyd invades a Ferrari rally and discovers a real Pinnochio maker in Orvieto before making Veal in Marsala Sauce with Truffles in front of the cathedral and embarking on a mushroom picking jaunt near Assisi

Today Floyd haggles for fish at the famous Molfetta market, cooks Mussels and Peppers in Trani harbour and a spectacular meal of Veal Parma Ham and Scampi in Monopoli.

Today - Floyd goes fishing for squid, takes a steam train to the Calabrian mountains, cooks wild boar, roasts a whole side of pig and learns how to make cheese from a farmers wife.
