In recent years Julie Peasgood has established herself as a successful and versatile TV presenter whilst remaining a popular and much loved actress. She is currently presenting Cruise Today on the Travel Channel and is a panellist on The Wright Stuff. Past presenting credits include Good Food Live, Bootsale Challenge, and This Morning, where she won considerable acclaim as guest co-presenter. Julie has been awarded Television Personality of the Year by the Royal Television Society.

As an actress, Julie’s career has spanned over 35 years of prestigious theatre and television. She spent five years with The Royal Shakespeare Company, and her numerous TV credits include Holby City, Taggart, Doctors, September Song, Luv, Spender, The Bill and First Born. But she is probably best remembered for her work in soaps - as Barry Grant’s long-suffering lover Fran in Brookside, Alan Turner’s motorbike-riding girlfriend Jo in Emmerdale and the effervescent Jacqui in Hollyoaks. She is one of the country’s leading voice-over artists, with hundreds of TV and radio commercials to her name, and is a reviewer on Steve Allen’s Show on LBC.

Julie is an award-winning author and the regular relationships expert on ITV1s The Alan Titchmarsh Show. She has had agony aunt columns in Yours, Now and No.1 magazines and currently has a column in the The Sunday Mirror Celebs magazine. She regularly writes about travel and lifestyle for several leading newspapers, magazines and websites, including The Daily Telegraph, The Mail on Sunday, The Sunday Express, Best, Woman, Bella and Metro.
