Bonnie Tompson

Painfully shy as a child, Bonnie Tompson grew up bored and restless, dreaming of far flung corners of the world. Always the performer behind closed doors, the extrovert in her was eventually unleashed when she was forced to take a speaking part in a secondary school play. She has come a long way since then.

At the age of 18 she was granted her escape and moved to London.  After her first year studying Drama at Goldsmiths she inter-railed around Europe for a summer, loved it, and as a consequence did everything she could to wrangle finishing her degree at a university in Pennsylvania, USA.  It soon became evident that she was not going to be satisfied with staying in one place for too long.

Years of training at LAMDA, where she at last felt at home amongst like minded odd balls, was supplemented by travels to new and exciting places. If only she could somehow combine the two?  Thus it was with great joy that Bonnie made the switch from stage to screen to become one of the presenters for Travel 360º.
