Episode 1: Walla Walla, WA 1


Seven Hills Winery and Dunham Cellars in Walla Walla, Washington are two of the best wineries in the Columbia Valley. Eric Dunham, winemaker of Dunham Cellars, and also one of the Walla Walla 3 Amigos is an artist inside and outside the bottle. Inspired by “Port” a 3-legged dog, his 3-legged red is as sturdy as they come and his Shirley Mays Chardonnay has proceeds going towards charity.

Having dinner and wine with the 3 Amigos at a local restaurant the night before, the morning finds Jason Priestley andTerry David Mulligan at Seven Hills Winery. And for lunch? Los Monarcha Tacos and Chardonnay will have the cast and crew feeling just fine.

Episode 2: Walla Walla, WA 2


Hosts Jason Priestley and Terry David Mulligan explore K-Wines and Cayuse Wineries in Walla Walla, Washington. Sir Charles Smith of K-Wines takes his Rock and Roll personality, adds one part Harley Davidson and comes out with some incredible wines. The Hustler, The Creator and The Boy are some of the featured wines in this segment.

As the hosts move to Cayuse Winery, they meet Christophe Baron, a French farmer living off the land and making quality wines in Walla Walla. Lunchtime finds us at the roadside Worm Ranch where pairing a Widowmaker with a cheese enchilada is normal for a Friday afternoon.

Episode 3: Okanagan, BC 1


British Columbia is fast becoming a leader in wine making. Terry David Mulligan and Jason Priestley explore two top wineries in the Okanagan Valley; Mission Hill and Burrowing Owl. Anthony Von Mandl, owner of Mission Hill, introduces Oculus, a big bell ringing red and award winning whites. Chef Michael Almire takes food and wine to a new level in Napa North.

Burrowing Owl went from grape growing to winemaking and won Best in Show at the LA County Fair in 2004 and 2005. Robert Goltz, the barefoot Vineyard Manager shares his trade secrets while Chef Dominique Couton shares his plated perfection. Winemakers Jim and Steve Wyse talk geography, grapes and gold medals.

Episode 4: Naramata Bench, BC


Poplar Grove, La Frenz and Naramata Inn, BC’s top wineries prove there is more on offer than peaches and beaches these days. Ian Sutherland, Winemaker at Poplar Grove has even more to offer than just wine, stealing recipes from Australian cheese makers has set his winery at the top of the list.

The Queen herself chose La Frenz wines to be poured at a Royal dinner, and that is exactly why Terry David Mulligan and Jason Priestley chose to visit this BC gem. Australian Winemakers Jeff and Niva Martin arrived on a working holiday and stayed to make great wines for locals and visitors from around the world.

Sommelier Blair Dufty and Jason go nose to nose at the Naramata Spa and Inn tasting samples from all over BC. Beautiful food with a beautiful BC backdrop set the tone for another spectacular episode of Hollywood and Vines.

Episode 5: Okanagan Valley, BC 2


Terry and Jason venture to Joie, an outdoor cooking school in the Okanagan Valley. Joie makes an unbelievable Rose that could top the list of favorites from this whole area. Meeting owners Michael and Heidi Dinn they experience first class hospitality, fresh food paired with fresh wines on an open patio.

The search for good juice continues at Quails Gate Winery, Ben Stewart and Chef Judith Knight help guide the way with Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. These wines are known for enticing the Ogopogo out of Lake Okanagan.

The hosts relax at the Eldorado Hotel to sample more wines and talk the talk with wine guy Vince Born. The afternoon is spent recapping on an Okanagan adventure that will leave you thirsty for more.

Episode 6: Sonoma Valley, CA 1


Jason Priestley and Terry David Mulligan visit “The House of the Big Reds” better known as St Francis Vineyards in Sonoma Valley, California. The Private Tasting Room presents only the reserve bottles and wine club exclusives. Tom Mackey, a Harley Riding Winemaker, likens his wines to the Grateful Dead and certainly a glass of the Old Vine Zin can play on with the best of them.

Tony Soter of Etude Winery offers a lesson to Jason and Terry, schooling the travelling hosts in Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. His world-class knowledge shows through in every bottle he pours. For lunch, Elizabeth Karmel author of “Taming the Flame”, talks grill talk, putting the world of BBQ at your fingertips.

Episode 7: Napa Valley, CA


The California Napa Valley is famous for beautiful wine and beautiful scenery. Jason Priestley and Terry David Mulligan visit big name winemakers Gina Gallo and Kate MacMurray at Gallo Wines and the MacMurray Ranch. Fred MacMurray left the Hollywood lifestyle to follow the dream of wine; little did he know Hollywood and Vines would come knocking!

David and Sarah Mars, owners of Les Mars Hotel, offer elegance and a new dimension of sophisticated, luxury lodging in wine country. There are more than 60 wineries within a 10-mile radius of this 16-room boutique hotel.

At Stags’ Leap, winemaker Danielle Cyrot creates bottles of affordable and drinkable wines for all to enjoy. This vineyard is also home to vines that are over 70 years old. It is history in the making, and making history with this episode.

Episode 8: Denver, CO


Racecars, rock stars and bubbles, Steven Page of the Barenaked Ladies joins the show as the hosts cruise into Denver Colorado for the Champ Car Grand Prix. Grand Marshall Jason Priestley and Terry David Mulligan are trackside to discover the sparkling sweetness of Moet and Chandon. Peter Murphy, Team Chef for Newman Haas talks about cooking for an entire race team and reveals the secret behind a great manwich. 

World-class chef, Kevin Taylor takes Terry and Jason for a taste drive at his self-named restaurant while backstage with the Barenaked Ladies brings home the checkered flag!

Episode 9: Sonoma Valley, CA 2


Hollywood and Vines continues to explore the richness in the California Sonoma Valley as hosts Jason Priestly and Terry David Mulligan visit Behrens and Hitchcock, Signorello Estate and Bouchon Restaurant. Les Behrens and Bob Hitchcock are two old school winemakers, starting their small winery with hand-me-down equipment. There is nothing second hand about their juice; wines named The Contender, and Blendo certainly make these winemakers contenders in the California wine market.

Ray Signorello continues the family tradition making exceptional wines, Padrone for his father, and Hope’s Cuvee for his mother. Chef Jeffrey Cerciello and Sommelier Paul Roberts uncork some of the best wines from around California at local French bistro Bouchon. Showing off Bouchon’s own Modicum, and sharing a local Rose, Roberts agrees that it is OK to drink pink.

Episode 10: San Francisco, CA 1


This segment features more of the best of the best from the Napa Valley, California. Plumpjack Winery was co-founded by Gavin Newsom, Mayor of San Francisco, and one of the first to introduce the screw cap to high-end wines. Specializing in Cabernet Sauvignon it would seem the quest for good juice is over. This edgy franchise extends to the Plumpjack Café, the Carneros Inn, Jack Falstaff Restaurant and other retail outlets.

Terry David Mulligan and Jason Priestley make a stop at MacArthur Place Country Inn and Spa, hidden in 7 acres of lush landscape; this 64-room boutique hotel is the perfect garden getaway.

Episode 11: San Francisco, CA 2


Terry David Mulligan and Jason Priestley tour San Francisco, California the gateway to the Napa Valley.  They go shopping street side at the local farmers market with Chef Jeremy Emerson to get the fixin’s for a great meal. Sommelier Rom Pelletier compliments the lunch with great wines from local wineries.

Next stop, the Napa Valley wine train. This railroad experience is a must do when visiting the wine region, wine tasting, great food and local history will fill your afternoon as the scenery passes you by.

Hollywood and Vines put three local winemakers in one room, sipping and sharing with the best of the best.

Episode 12: Guadalupe Valley, Mexico 1


Jason Priestley and Terry David Mulligan take their quest for good juice over the border and into the Guadalupe Valley in Mexico. Donald and Tru Miller, owners of the Adobe Guadalupe Winery and Bed and Breakfast take the twosome horseback riding through the vineyards. This Bed and Breakfast is the best place to stay in this town, 6 beautiful rooms and all the comforts of home.

Mexican winemaking legend Hugo D’Acosta is the winemaker at 7 Mexican Wineries. His own Winery Casa de Piedra, is a wine school where guests can come and try their hand at this delicious craft.

Episode 13: Guadalupe Valley, Mexico 2


Hollywood and Vines continues to explore the Mexican Guadalupe valley and returns to the “house of stone” Casa de Piedra to visit with Hugo D’Acosta. Hugo brings French and Italian winemaking skills and expertise to this unique, up and coming region.

Jason Priestley and Terry David Mulligan meet Russian winemakers David Bibayoff and “the Godfather of Mexican wine” Hans Backhoff. Between wine tasting and fishing, the Monte Xanic Winery is a diamond in the rough. Local eatery Laja Restaurant is giving Mexican food a makeover. It is a world-class restaurant with its own herb garden and in-house winery.
