LA CARRERA MEDITERRANA

Episode 1: A Nice Place To Start - Nice

This series follows the competitors on an exciting 21-day car rally around the Mediterranean. The seafront at Nice makes a great setting for the start of the race, but the weather could hardly be worse! 21 days of fierce competition lie ahead as the competitors line up to start their adventure through Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Sicily and Tunisia.

Episode 2: Pearls Of The Adriatic - Dubrovnik, Montenegro, Bosnia & Albania

It's just a few days into the adventure and the competitors are finding the navigation as difficult as the scenery is beautiful. They visit Dubrovnik, before travelling via Montenegro and Bosnia to Albania, where the people are friendly, but the roads are highly dangerous!

Episode 3: Meteoric Monasteries - Greece

Into Greece and it's snowing - the last thing anyone expected, particularly those with open top cars! After a visit to the world famous Meteora monasteries and an overnight stay at Delphi, it's on to Italy and the Trulli region, where difficult navigation causes chaos for some of the less experienced crews.

Episode 4: Mediterranean Cruise - Italy, Sicily

From Italy the rally moves into Sicily and more difficult navigation using GPS systems. The drivers skirt Mount Etna, and then drive on part of the world famous Targa Florio race circuit. At last after 2 weeks on the road, the rally takes one last long ferry journey to Tunisia.

Episode 5: Climax In A Coliseum - Tunisia

The final seven-day loop through Tunisia will test the navigational skills of the crews and the reliability of the vehicles. However, they are still able to enjoy the local culture, see camels and visit Tunisia's largest salt lake. Their epic adventure finally concludes in the Roman Coliseum at El Jem.
