CAPRICE'S TRAVELS

Series 1 Episode 10: Scotland

Caprice takes the road to the isles - well, Argyll in Scotland actually. Now becoming something of a fishing expert, she chugs out onto Loch Awe, gets attacked by midges and decides to make a meal of her catch - a juicy rainbow trout. She finds out first hand what goes into Haggis (and decides the Scots can keep it) and learns what to take on her next mountain climb! She also discovers the romantic story of Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora MacDonald, and gives herself a headache trying to play the bagpipes.

Series 1 Episode 3: Majorca

Supermodel Caprice had never been to Majorca until this trip and as she admits herself, she was pleasantly surprised. Aside from the cute boys she discovers that the capital Palma has fine architecture, wonderful jewellery, shops and excellent pavement cafes. Out of town, she heads for the exclusive La Residencia hotel, renowned for its list of celebrity guests, and has a massage courtesy of the masseuse who used to tend to Princess Diana. Other highlights include her tennis lessons and a visit to an unusual nightclub which appears to be a cross between a Catholic Church, a flower market, and a torture chamber.

Series 2 Episode 1: Jordan

Yes, the lovely Caprice is back with a follow up series to her popular and widely acclaimed travel show. In this episode she travels to Jordan, one of the most beautiful - and safesy - countries in the Middle East where she discovers stunning sights guaranteed to enchant the visitor. Caprice samples it all from camel riding to picnicking in the desert with Bedouins, sampling some beauty treatments down at the Dead Sea and paying a visit to the enchanting Rose Red City of Petra.

Series 1 Episode 4: London

Supermodels tend to spend very little time in any one place - even in the town they call home. So this trip around London was a surprise for Caprice. First, she takes an open-top bus tour of the sights before hopping off for a spot of shopping with her friend Tamara Beckwith. After lunch by the Thames, she decides some jogging might be in order. Before long though she's distracted by a rowing club and decides to try her hand at the oars. The exertion proves too much however and she plumps for a nice cuppa while the boys take to the water. Then it's off to a traditional London pub complete with Pearly Kings and Queens - a new experience for Caprice and later that evening on to a 'happening' nightclub for a bop.

Series 2 Episode 2: Blackpool

Model/pop singer/presenter Caprice discovers the joys of the good old British family holiday as she pays a visit to Blackpool - the 'Las Vegas of the Northwest'. Despite the adverse weather conditions, Caprice finds it a charming holiday destination and enjoys the very British delights of fish and chips and bingo, pays a visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and watches the spectacle of an International Firework Display in the pouring rain.

Series 1 Episode 5: Bahamas

Caprice heads off for the 14-acre playground of sun and swimming pools known as Atlantis in the Bahamas. Built by leisure baron Sol Kerzner (who designed the astonishing Sun City in South Africa), this aquatic theme park is a huge hit with American tourists. After trawling for emeralds down on Bay Street, she enjoys a golfing lesson on what must be one of the world's most beautiful courses. Shark feeding and shopping for sarongs are also on the itinerary.

Series 2 Episode 3: LA

Caprice is in her element as she visits her hometown of Los Angeles. After taking in the glamour of Beverly Hills and swanky Rodeo Drive, Caprice takes an illuminating tour of movie stars' homes. Did you know that Burt Reynolds' marriage was so turbulent that when he came to sell his mansion there had to be a complete overhaul and refurbishment? No, neither did Caprice! The city has many attractions, from a trend-setting Oxygen bar and a dedicated Cigar Lounge to the famous Universal Studios where Caprice gets to experience some of the magic of movie making.
