ESSENTIAL SOUTH KOREA

Danny RobinsFrom high tech to high rise, most things in Seoul go up, not least the swelling population. Sadly for Danny Robins, our intrepid talent seems to be on the way down after going head to head in a battle with the B Boyz, toe to toe in a taekwondo match and foot in mouth with some skin eating fishes.

If you’d like to find out more about the places Danny visited in the programme, then check out the following links:

Today, it is popular with anyone wanting to experience Buddhism and the Zen martial arts ‘Sanmudo’.

The next year the church was completed as the first Gothic-style church in the Yeongnam region and the third in Korea.

Jeongbang Waterfalls
english.tour2jeju.net
One of the 3 most famous waterfalls on Jeju Island, it is often described as the only waterfall in Asia to fall directly into the sea. This is not true as other countries also have waterfalls that do this. In fact, the water from Jeongbang actually falls into a small, sheltered cove, not directly into the ocean. Still, the 23-meter falls are very picturesque with the cliffs, the sea, and several small islands offshore as a backdrop.
