By taking part in this Travel Channel Competition entrants agree to be bound by these Rules, together with the specific entry instructions and terms for the Competition and its prize(s) which are also published on the website or otherwise communicated to would-be entrants (“Competition details”). In the event of any inconsistency between these Rules and the Competition details, the Competition details shall take precedence.

Where a breach of this requirement occurs, only the first valid entry received by Travel Channel will be considered, and all others deemed invalid.
Unless the Competition details clearly state otherwise, the winner shall be chosen by random selection in accordance with the laws of chance, from amongst all valid entries answering the competition question(s) correctly. The identification of all entrants who answered the question(s) correctly and the random selection of the winner from this pool of entrants shall both be carried out automatically by the software associated with the website. Unless the Competition details clearly state otherwise, subsequent or runners-up prizes are awarded on the same basis as above.
No employee of Travel Channel, the prize provider or their families shall be eligible to enter.
Unless the Competition details clearly state otherwise, there is no cash alternative to any prize.
In the event a winner is unable to take up a prize, 'Travel Channel' reserves the right to award the prize instead to the runner-up.
Winners acknowledge that prizes are normally supplied by third party companies, and that ‘Travel Channel’ has no responsibility for these. Winners will be required to sign and abide by the relevant prize provider’s terms & conditions and/or booking conditions in order to take up a prize. Winners and any travelling companion(s) are expected to have adequate travel insurance.
Holiday or travel prizes must be taken on, by or between any date(s) specified in the Competition details; All bookings are non-transferable and subject to availability. Holiday prizes are not all-inclusive, unless the Competition details clearly state that they are.
Travel Channel accepts no responsibility for lost, inaccurate or unidentifiable entries; Proof of sending/transmission is not proof of delivery. Travel Channel will not acknowledge entries.
Winners agree to their names being published/publicised on this website and in other media, and may be asked to be involved in other publicity.
Unless stated otherwise in the Competition details, winner(s) will be notified (via the email address provided when entering) within one month after the closing date. Details of winner(s) will normally be posted on this website for a minimum period of three weeks from such notification, or a list of winners is available during the same period by sending a return-stamped and self-addressed envelope marked with the name of the Competition to Travel Channel, 64 Newman Street, London W1T 3EF, England.
