Thomson TV is a partnership between TCI and the TUI Group, the world's largest package travel company. Based at TCI's studios in London, Thomson TV transmits 18 hours a day on the UK's digital satellite platform from position 637 on the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG). Excerpts from Thomson TV also appear within the UK versions of Travel Channel at EPG positions 261 and 262.
Drawing upon TCI's extensive video library and production expertise, Thomson TV invites UK holidaymakers to "look before you book" and enjoy attractive discounts below published brochure prices. TCI provides all television-related services including satellite transmission, play out, production, licensing and EPG positions, and holds copyright in all Thomson TV output.
