EPISODE 1: ANTIGUA

EPISODE 4: BORA BORA

Tour Bora Bora by jet ski and ATV, be treated to a true cultural treat with one of the local Tahitian adventure guides, find out what a Tahitian hotdog really is, learn about the cultivation of black pearls, visit a vineyard on its own private motu (watch the show to learn what this word means), zoom around Rangiroa in a three wheeled buggy and plunge into the shark infested waters around Bora Bora with The Travel Guy, Frank, as he checks out 3 metre long sharks feeding.

 

EPISODE 5; TAHITI

As the Tahitians say, Maeva (Welcome)! Explore the culturally rich and sun blessed world of French Polynesia in the South Pacific Ocean as The Travel Guy, Frank Greco and co-host Lauren Sally navigate through the hustle and bustle of downtown Papeete, experience the Tahiti market place, explore natural waterfalls, experience a night time fire show and take the shortest air flight in the world as Lauren travels to Tahiti's sister island Mo'orea to uncover the lushness of the island while off-roading.

 

EPISODE 6: HAWAII

Known as the Aloha state, Hawaii is actually comprised of 7 islands.  Surf's-up on this bodacious episode. Drive one of the world's most scenic highways, go whale watching during the humpback mating season, mountain bike the world's steepest road, explore the world's most active volcano and learn to surf hike in the mini Grand Canyon. The Travel Guy dons his Hawaiian shirt and lei for an action packed, scenic trip to the four main islands of Hawaii.

 

EPISODE 7: NIAGARA FALLS

Start by riding-up the world's tallest tower and stand on its glass floor looking straight down.  Canada's best-known attraction, Niagara Falls, is one of the world's wonders and is still known as the honeymoon capital of the world. Feel the thunder of the cascading waters as they plunge 170 feet to the rocky bottom. Be amazed by the beauty of the falls, discover one of the world's most technologically advanced wineries in the Niagara wine region and learn how to make a local favourite - fudge.

 

EPISODE 8: BERMUDA

This Caribbean island was the place where explorer Christopher Columbus, the discoverer of the New World, landed.  The Travel Guy explores the first European colony in the New World where Columbus lived, he will visit the largest cave in the Caribbean, make a unique carnival mask just for himself and learn a little about Dominican rum.  Lauren will take up the popular sport of kite surfing invented in The Dominican and when the sun goes down, she will dance the merengue.  There are a few surprises in this episode of The Travel Guy.

 

EPISODE 9: THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Check out the Czech Republic. Tag along with The Travel Guy as he and Lauren explore the magnificent capital city of Prague, take the plunge in soothing hot springs, visit sandstone rock towns and drive along the countryside.  If you like beer, especially Pilsner, then you can thank The Czech Republic and the town of Plzen, which we will be exploring, for having created such a fantastic brew.

 

EPISODE 10: CROATIA

Croatia is known for inventing the one item that all of us use around the world, the fountain and ballpoint pens. Croatia is also the hidden gem of the Adriatic boasting beautiful beaches and seaside towns, and has a wealth of natural wonders. Discover the rich history and culture of Zagreb, the capital city, the variety of local cuisines, and a visit to the city of Split is definitely on the list.

 

EPISODE 11: FLORENCE

Florence, or as the Italians say, Firenze, is the city of love and it is where the world's best known love story, that of Romeo & Juliet, happened.  Explore the city of Florence, its museums, cathedrals, Michaelangelo's David and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. 


EPISODE 12; ROME

Rome is known as the Eternal City, but also the city of many fountains, none more famous than the Trevi fountain. Watch The Travel Guy put his hand in The Mouth of Truth-will his hand be bitten off? Enter temples and the Coliseum, discover hidden piazzas, check out the Spanish steps, take a tour by scooter and learn how to make a pizza, the Italian way.

 

EPISODE 13; GREECE

Athens was created from the myths of heroes overcoming impossible odds.  In its prime, Athens was known as the birthplace of civilization and the cultural centre of the world. Today the magnificence of historic Athens remains for all to see. The Travel Guy visits the Acropolis, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, walks the famous historic triangle and explores the world's most celebrated athletic competition - the Olympics. The Travel Guy will have a few surprises in this episode.
