Rick started his stand up comedy career at the tender age of fifteen, which means that he has spent over half of his life in show biz! No stranger to the comedy circuit, Rick has headlined at comedy clubs and festivals throughout Canada and the United States. The Canadian Organization of Campus Activities recently named him "Comic of the Year", marking the third time in four years he's received this honour.

Rick's live appearances include three engagements at Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Yuk Yuks, Catch a Rising Star and The Comedy Nest. As well as opening for Phyllis Diller and the Smothers Brothers. He was featured in his own half-hour stand-up special on CBC's "COMICS!" and worked as a contributing writer on CBC's "Midday", CTV News and CBC Radio. Rick's busy schedule included entertaining audiences on television, radio and at conventions, trade shows and colleges.

With The Tourist going into its third season, Rick continues to gain quite a following for his work on this popular travel show. Audience surveys have pegged him as the most popular travel host in the U.S.

Rick Bronson has spent more than half his life in show business. Starting stand up comedy at the age of 15, Rick has gone on to become one of the busiest and most acclaimed writer/performers in the country.

At just 34 years of age Rick has Six times been awarded The Canadian Campus Comedian of the Year Award (1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002 & 2004). He was recently nominated the Comedian of the Year at the first annual Canadian Comedy Awards. He is also the creator, producer, writer and host of the award winning series The Tourist, which is seen internationally in fourteen countries.

He has appeared three times in the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. His one-hour Comedy Now special was the highest rated original program on the Comedy Network and CTV (2000). He was also featured in his own half-hour stand-up special on CBC's COMICS! Rick has also worked as a contributing writer on CBC's Midday, CTV News and CBC Radio. Aside from his numerous appearances on television and radio, Rick has worked with The Smothers Brothers, Phyllis Diller and many other top draw celebrities.
