Fond of exploration, Patrice Franceschi worked on humanitarian projects and became a writer and a film director. He is also President of the “Société des Explorateurs Français” and Member of the “Société de Géographie”.
He succeeded in the latest sailing expedition of the previous " Boudeuse " between 1999 and 2001 in the Indo-Malaysian archipelago, directing a 7 x 52’ documentary series with Télé-images, France 2, Voyage, Rai 3, and RTBF. He also directed: The Lost Valley, France 3 - Return to the Macuje, France 2 - Nagaland prohibited, France 3
