Miranda Krestovnikoff
Presenter of HOW TO HOLIDAY GREENER
Miranda Krestovnikoff is well known for her environmental, conservation and natural history broadcasting, most recently on BBC’s "Coast" and "The Nature of Britain" series. Miranda studied at Bristol University, gaining a degree in Zoology and worked at the BBC's prestigious Natural History Unit, making wildlife programmes before turning her hand to presenting in order to convey her passion for wildlife and the outdoors.
Her passion for all things green starts at home where Miranda is currently renovating her family home - which includes solar panels to heat the hot water and plans for a wind turbine in the back garden. She grows organic fruit and vegetables and invites friends to join her "One Mile Wide" club where a 3 course dinner, including local cider, all comes from within a mile of where she lives!
