Lauren Sally
Presenter of THE TRAVEL GUY
Lauren worked as a morning radio show host and independent documentary producer before becoming a co-host on The Travel Guy. She has lived on the very remote Canadian Arctic, and has packed a great deal of travel and adventure into her life. From road-trips exploring the Cuban countryside, to rail trips across Europe, to skiing and trekking in numerous mountain ranges worldwide, Lauren has placed “professional world traveller” on her passport.
Over the course of the first season of The Travel Guy Lauren has had the opportunity to visit many corners of the world and she says, “I really enjoy the opportunity the show provides to interact with the local people in each of our destinations. It offers me and our viewers a much deeper insight into the local culture and allows for very real experiences.”
An accomplished athlete, Lauren won many awards as a figure skater and captained her university varsity volleyball team. She is an avid outdoors person and thoroughly enjoys an adventurous lifestyle at home and abroad.
