Raised on a wildlife refuge in Kenya, Jules’ natural ability with animals and his passion for the entertainment industry led him to Hollywood. Jules is a world traveled adventurer, explorer and full time storyteller.
He is one of the most respected animal trainers in Hollywood. A Herpetologist, his specialty is working with reptiles, but he has handled everything from alligators to zebras for more than 500 motion pictures, television shows and commercials.
Jules' encyclopedic knowledge makes him an authority on how animals, amphibians, reptiles and insects inter-relate. With his British accent and ability to speak fluent Swahili, Jules is an entertaining speaker and regularly lectures at universities and colleges. In addition to hosting Discovery Channel and Travel Channel Series and Specials, his voice talent is also used in the Animal Kingdom at Disney World in Florida.
Jules has a sensational sense of humor, which is one of the reasons he is a regular guest on the Tonight Show. On one visit Jules had Jay Leno lay down in a plexiglas case, and then poured 300 pounds of snakes on top of him.
