After two successful series, The Luxury Travel Show has produced a 1hour special set in Malaysia. The programme features four of the most famous hotels in Malaysia and tours the historical island of Penang and the city of Kuala Lumper - complete with the world's tallest building - The Petronas Tower.

The Datai Langkawi:
This is situated on the northwestern tip of the island of Langkawi, and provides an idyllic natural retreat within the depths of a historical rainforest. It's also one of the most famous spa resorts in the world. Set above a secluded cove, the resort has its own white sand beach facing the peaceful Andaman Sea. Freestanding villas crafted from local materials are scattered throughout the forest and are connected to the resort's central areas by a series of pathways.
Pangkor Laut:
Once populated only by monitor lizards, sea eagles and macaque monkeys, the Pangkor Laut resort's natural beauty can now be shared with a limited number of pampered guests.
The Mandarin Oriental:
This is the latest luxury hotel in Kuala Lumpur. A prime location in the City Centre adjacent to the world's tallest buildings, the 88 storey Petronas Tower and overlooking the lush 50 acre park.
The E&O Penang:
This is one of the oldest luxury hotels in Asia. Penang has a large selection of hotels in a wide range of locations and prices. The grand dame of the hotels is the historic Eastern and Oriental on the city's oceanfront not far from Fort Cornwallis. Built in 1855, the hotel was the first and foremost hotel built by the Sarkies brothers who went on to build the famous 'Raffles' hotel in Singapore and 'The Strand' in Rangoon.
