EPISODE 1: Canada
Pilot Guides host Ian Wright presents a unique studio show in which he shares his experiences of travelling to the furthest flung places of the globe. In this programme Ian focuses on Canada and, after getting all slushy with some baby seals, Ian shares his travel tales with the audience, and then turns to his bunch of travelling companions for some opinions.
The curious travel toy of the day is a snowball maker, and in 'Cooking with Ian' two unsuspecting members of the audience are invited to try tarmagine intestines and seal fat. The grand finale is an audience question and answer session
EPSIDOE 2: Morocco
Take an old hippy waistcoat, a haggling Arabic phrasebook and mint tea. What destination to do you have? Morocco! After sharing travel tales with the audience, Ian turns to his bunch of travelling companions for some opinions. The regular 'curious travel toys' feature focuses on an 'emergency life hammer'.
Then Ian reminds us of some of the gross things he's had to eat around the world, from sheep's eyeballs to bat's blood, leading into today's 'Cooking with Ian', which features sheep's intestines. The grand finale is an audience question and answer session.

Here are some clues to the destination featured in this programme: a cut of mutton, a bit of silk and an old Soviet spy camera. Yes, you've guessed it - Central Asia! After sharing travel tales with the audience, Ian turns to his exploration of curious travel toys with a look at the lemon-powered alarm clock. There are the usual insights from his bunch of travel companions, and in 'Cooking with Ian' two members of the audience get to sample boiled sheep's eyes! In this programme Ian looks at Australia and, after sharing his warning on the dangers of letting an Ozzie into your home (you'll end up eaten out of house and home and welcome a new community of travellers into your living room!), Ian turns to his bunch of travel companions for their opinions on the world down under. The curious travel toy in focus is mirrored glasses for perving with the utmost subtlety, and 'Cooking with Ian' features kangaroo burgers garnished with witchetty grubs. After sharing his fears of visiting Cambodia, Ian tells us about his travel experiences and love of the Cambodian food and people. He shows us the effect of 'Happy Pizza' on some locals, before turning to his bunch of travel companions for their anecdotes.
